My dear Mary With my congrat ulation on the approach of the auspicious morrow will you not allow me to send you an offering to bring a little salt & oil to your new housekeeping. I make no apology for choosing this form rather than some tasteful gift for so I only begin to send home an old deposit which your father lodged in my hands in
